Description

Disney Little Einsteins is an inspiring and highly interactive preschool programme that takes young viewers on global adventures that introduce them to nature, world cultures, and enjoyment of the arts. Using an innovative blend of live action footage and 2-D character animation, Disney Little Einsteins features four music-loving kids (Leo, Annie, Quincy and June) and their versatile ship, Rocket. Each episode begins with a call to action, or "mission", which is followed by a fascinating journey of discovery that includes a celebrated piece of classical music and a renowned work of art or world culture. The characters use their passion and talents to work together, solve challenges and achieve their goals. Viewers are invited to join in their activities, reinforcing the early-learning concepts contained in the programme. Dreadful quality

Great series, my kids love it. But it’s extremely expensive for what looks like 480 resolution. The lines on the screen are horrendous. Reduce the price or up the quality please.

One of my sons favourite shows. Very disappointed in quality. Purchased 1 episode before commiting to whole series. Glad I did. Quality is very poor, and show glitches throughout. Will not be purchasing any more episodes from this season.

I wasn't sure about this the first time I saw it but my three year old son absolutely loves it!! He jumps around the room as the theme music plays and joins in with the 'pat, pat, pat' and identifying the right music for whatever it is they're looking for. It's not to every child's taste but, for those that like it, it's really educational :-)
Accents have not been changed over to English on Pirate Treasure

My little girl loves watching this on Playhouse Disney. The characters on playhouse disney have English accents, whereas on this episode it is the original american accents.

My daughter is almost 2 and absolutely loves this programme, now she can watch them in the car on long journeys, fantastic.

My kids [nearly 5 and nearly 2] absolutely love this show. My under 2 loves to patpatpat and even sings along to the classical music! I really can't see the appeal myself but hey, I'm not under 5. Yes, the UK voices are rather odd but the USA kids can't sing either. To be honest, its better in German!

I bought this along with Dora and showed both to my 2.5 yr old son. He loved dora, but walked off five times from little einsteins. Top marks to Disney for trying this, but I don't think it really hits home. It has all the things I would have wanted, astonomy, classical music and general science, but I guess it went over my sons head. I'll try again when he is 3.

I was not sure how well Disney would manage this company, but they have done really well, the kids love these shows and hats off to Disney for producing UK versions. Absolutely fantastic.
The voices are all wrong

If you can import the US version of this series you should. The U.K. voices are rubbish. I normally don't like american accents, but on this series it is much better.
