    Ncuti brings a fantastic, robust energy back to the show after it was in a lull for the past few series. Production quality is right up there also, really enjoyed this episode. It loved Stephen Moffat and what he brought as showrunner to the series but it’s great to have Russell T Davies back at the helm.

    A fun start to a new era. New doctor is on fire and new companion is fantastic. A relatively simple story with a little awkward pacing but still plenty of charm and wit to enjoy in the new era. It brings an energy back to the show that it hasn’t had in a long time and makes me happy to be a Doctor Who fan again.

    This was such fun. Ncuti Gatwa owns the part of The Doctor instantly. The new character, Ruby is also immediately likeable; a great, fun start for a new chapter of Doctor Who. Looking forward to May.
