A story about hope and rediscovery, this comedy series follows Sam (executive producer Bridget Everett), a native Kansan who has forever struggled to fit the hometown mold. After the devastating loss of her sister, Sam feels more out of place than ever, until an invitation to an unconventional underground gathering slowly begins to reignite the passion and joy missing from her life. With help from a group of outsiders, led by former-high-school-classmate-turned-coworker Joel (Jeff Hiller), Sam goes on a transformative journey of acceptance – for herself and the place that's never felt like home.
