Up there with the finest TV shows ever made. Any historical inaccuracies are finely judged to keep the narrative moving, thereby allowing a very necessary tale to be told. Stellar performances from all. Gripping, stirring and heartbreaking in equal measure. Visually stunning and sonically on another level thanks to a glorious, Emmy winning soundtrack by Hildur Gudnadóttir. A magnificent series.

Absolutely brilliant show. Watched this each week it was on.

V good overall. But why add Emily Watson ???? There was no female scientist in the Chernobyl disaster. This character was actually several men, who were replaced with a woman - why - toxic feminists at the BBC. Try to tell the truth for once BBC.

How TV should be.

Chilling and emotional, and the actors were all superb. Very well done. And good to remind people of the horrors of Chernobyl. What we must remember is the animals too that suffered because of this disaster, wildlife and domestic, not just the people, we often forget that.

It’s beyond astounding
