Steven Universe, Vol. 6

If it wasn't bad enough that this series has received terrible censorship around the world, including the complete ban in Kenya, we now endure it here in the UK despite being so proud of our "Pride". Its one matter to censor specific scenes for television (for young audiances - however unacceptable) but another to carry this over to home media, something that is purchased and is expected to be full not edited. As I write this, I refer to one episode in particular - "We Need To Talk". This episode has received a controversial censorship here in the UK and has sadly been carried over to iTunes (amongst others). It seems we are not able to experience this show the way the artists behind it had planned. As a country that is supposed to be so forward thinking, why are we limping behind the US on facts of life... LGBTQ people exist, always have done and we're not going away. I would never raise my children to think any different. #NoH8 For those looking for minced episodes of Steven Universe, have at it! Whomever deemed this acceptable (despite the political view) - We Need To Talk!
