    This is a fabulous series but the voice syncing on this download is terrible. Seems to. E a problem only with series one but needs sorting. APPLE! SORT IT OUT PLEASE

  • Forgot its roots

    The series started out remarkably well. I enjoyed seeing how quiet the roads were and the lack of technology permeating everyday life. But the show soured and dropped into that level of hell where shows go when they create antagonistic situations for the sake of it. Yes, she is a female senior officer. Yes, the male colleagues are chauvinistic and misogynistic (not all of them). Most of the stories focus on her as a woman and very little by way of her being a very good police officer. It doesn’t help that the character is awful. There is nothing to like about her. We stopped watching when the novelty wore off. I’m glad we didn’t buy this and watched it on BritBox instead. Watch it on BritBox.

  • Gripping drama with some great acting.

    This first series was shot in the old mirror group newspapers building in Manchester. There's a standout performance from Steve Bridgeman as young cop trying to find his feet in unfamiliar territory. Helen Mirren is also good. Recommended.
