10 years on from the original series, the picture quality has improved, as it SHOULD technology having moved on: apparent when this inspired me to rewatch the first series. Episodes 2, 3, 4 & 5 are continuations of the corresponding episodes from 10 years ago, a little repetitive (if, like me, you watch both series) but, still wonderful to watch. The chase sequence in episode 1 is ASTOUNDING: real heart pounding stuff! Episode 6 is an eye-opening surprise & finishes off this series on a hopeful note: wild animals adapting to live in cities? OUTSTANDING TV at its best!

There is nothing to compare the sheer majesty and grandeur of this series. The first series I found endlessly touching and inspiring and this is no different. I also want to add that the best episode in the series so far is Grasslands; it has a poetic quality about it - beautifully orchestrated with the magic of the natural world. Essential
