Description

Vulnerable before a reality that can suddenly be modified and become unpredictable, the characters of Wild Tales cross the thin line that divides civilization from brutality. A story about love deception, the return of the past, a tragedy, or even the violence contained in an everyday detail, appear themselves to push them towards the abyss, into the undeniable pleasure of losing control.

Highly entertaitning collection of unrelated short stories. It does have a yesteryear feel to it, which makes me like even more.

I love this movie! The opening had me hooked and serves up a combination or thought provoking surprise and relatable situations which we all have incurred yet you still can't predict what's coming next! Watch this it's fantastic!

Dark and funny tales , but just a smudge too long. The last story about the wedding dragged for me. Apart from thematic connection the stories are completely unrelated and it would have been nice for the director to somehow connect them through segues.
  • No. This is dark and deranged the WHOLE way through

This film is not for sensitive people. This had absolutely no comedy in it whatsoever, it was all so heavy and deathly. So dark. People who like this film, are twisted. This is comparable to psychopathic stuff.
  • A darkly hilarious jaw dropping joy

This film manages to deftly walk the tightrope between outrageous and believable. Six stories linked through themes of morality and revenge, utterly committed, beautifully acted and very very funny. Though neither written nor directed by Almodovar (he produced), it has his stamp all over it. Thoroughly recommended.
  • Quirky but disappointing.

Doesn't live up to the dark humour of its opening tale (especially given the tragic events of earlier this year). Wild Tales has some good moments after that, but the tales of urban revenge and a wedding gone horribly wrong are unconvincing and far too long.

emotionally charged, captivating and sincere. Very well directed and played. This is an absolute must-see. Congratulations to a great production and looking forward to more of the director’s work.
