Description

A suspenseful adventure thriller directed by Academy Award® winner Kevin MacDonald, BLACK SEA centers on a rogue submarine captain (two-time Academy Award® nominee Jude Law) who pulls together a misfit crew to go after a sunken treasure rumored to be lost in the depths of the Black Sea.     Who's ideas was it to hold the camera and let it bob all over the place? The cinematography is pants the pub scene made me feel like I was on a boat bobbing up and down!!!!! Story and film could have been far better, I smell a better remake in 20 years!

    This is a superb suspense thriller, who cares if it is believable or not, it's a gripping film and well worth watching. I don't often write a review but felt compelled as this film appears hard done by from previous reviewers. Come on, let's support the UK film industry for goodness sake!

    None of the characters are likeable so you don't really like them anyway, and I finished the film without knowing what the point of it all was

    In the preview clip the film looked watchable. However, the actual film was awful, and Jude laws Scottish accent was the worst I've heard! They go on about the Russian navy above them but we don't see any above surface action what so ever! If it's underwater action you want then "Das Boot" or even "The hunt for red October" would be a better watch. disappointing!

    Honestly, there’s more make believe in this film than than Mary Poppins. As a retired Commercial Diver, everything was factually wrong with this film, even down to their voices not changing at depth, no decompression obligations and a disaster every few minutes! Jude Law does his level best to act this film up but even his extreme talents fail to make it watchable. Save your £13.99 and buy a couple of good bottles of one

    What utter and complete garbage, no decent scripts coming Jude Laws way obviously. Technical advise given by the Ramsgate snorkelers club. Couldn't bring myself to watch to the very end. Awful
