A Merry Christmas Miracle tells the story of Boyd (Joel McHale), a loving husband and father of two, who wants nothing more than to give his son the perfect Christmas. The only problem: Christmas Eve with his eccentric family, including his father Mitch (Robin Williams), a foul-mouthed man who has yet to express his love for Boyd. Once Boyd arrives at his parents’ he has a startling realization, he has left his son’s presents at home! He sets out on a journey to retrieve the gifts, but it’s only a matter of time before his car gets stuck, and Mitch steps in to help. Along the way, Boyd and Mitch are forced to confront their tragicomic history to reconcile their differences and recognize that family, even one as crazy as their own, is something to love.
