I thought this was going to be a good film and still I was surprised at how good it was. If you're unsure, just watch it.

A wonderful, witty, moving piece of cinema with superb acting and a powerful message. I was sobbing at the end, and I rarely do that with movies.

Entertaining but very annoying for anyone knowing a fraction of the truth, so don't believe a minute of it, never was any major strife against Turing, he probably wouldn't have noticed anyway, no credit for Gordon Welch, Tommy Flowers, and many more. Complete and utter tripe. Read any of the excellent books instead!

A tour de force of Cumberbatch's talents. His interpretation of the eccentric gives us all the gift of insight.

I put this film on not knowing what to expect but preparing myself to be bored within the first 5 minutes. How wrong was I? This film had me engrossed throughout and I was transfixed on the screen as the story and the way it was acted was so amazing I couldn't look away! Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing amazingly and deserves so much more credit than he has received! I've watched this film multiple times since and would watch it again in a heartbeat. Whenever anyone asks me what film they should see I always suggest this one! 10/10...5 STAR!

An absolutely gripping depiction of the story of Alan Turing. Benedict Cumberbatch is a true credit to his profession.
