Weak plot, dull pace, cheesy voice overs- I want those two hours of my life back.

Loved the tv series, it was totally under-rated. Was slightly sceptical about there being a film and thought it was just a film of the old series, I was wrong. It lived up to the tv series and my only down side is…..I want more!!

After all these years since the series has ended, this has done the series a great farewell justice! Brilliant film! Wanted this to happen for a long time!

I couldn't have asked for more from the movie (except maybe a bit more of Weevil's story). Such a perfect way to tie up all the loose ends I thought they didn't deal with at the end of season 3!
  • Nice to be back in Neptune

I was a big fan of the show and I've been looking forward to this movie for a long time. It wasn't perfect but I did enjoy it. I know it's a tough balance to achieve something satisfying for old fans and yet something enjoyable for those new to the franchise. I think this ended up on the old fan side of that balance. There were a lot of inside jokes and little nods to great things from the past. I wasn't a huge fan of the opening sequence with all the voice over to catch up the plot of the series. I wish there had been another way to intro that. And the ending did seem a little rushed. However, I've bought it and watched it two or three times. It was a pleasure to see all those characters and see how they've changed and stayed the same. I smiled so many times and laughed lots. I love Veronica Mars and I love seeing a tough smart girl doing tough smart things. If they end up continuing this franchise in any way I will be there watching it.

I am a long time fan of the Veronica Mars series and was so excited at the prospect of a film. I absolutely loved it! I thought it was exciting and surprising. I think that the film managed to give us everything we loved about the original series yet it was fresh and not too nostalgic. The cast was fantastic as always! Everything I wished for! I really recommend this film!

I’m so glad I live i a world where comebacks like this are possible at all, let alone this good. A perfect blend of fan-pleasing fun and excellent standalone dramatic storytelling, it’s a quality production throughout that I can recommend to anyone who loves a good detective thriller, Marshmallow or otherwise. Lets hope this is just the start of a whole new chapter in the life of the magnificent Miss Mars.
