Description

San Diego’s legendary TV anchorman Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) finds his popularity in a tailspin when competitor Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) gets a lead on the city’s most headline-making story: a wave of crimes perpetrated by the mysterious, radical protest group, “The Alarm Clock.” To bounce back into the game, Ron must desperately hone his investigative-reporter skills and make amends with his estranged KVWN news team members (Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner). The ’70s are back … and so is Ron Burgundy, in this raucous, laugh-filled alternate saga of the original Anchorman: Legend of Ron Burgundy!

Pointless, random and has no plot what so ever (not in a funny way). If you really loved the 1st and 2nd Anchorman movies do yourself a favour and do not watch this, it will ruin it for you. Brick and Fantana barely said a few words in the whole movie, and champ spent 15 minutes expressing his man love to Ron which was pretty graphic and disgusting !

This film is actually really quite good, which is surprising because it's made of footage and deleted material that was left out of the original Anchorman film. It turns out that there was a whole subplot that was filmed but never used, and with clever editing an entirely new film was possible! You can tell in places that the film has been pieced together, but overall it works really well - and let's face it, more Ron is never a bad thing. Stay classy, iTunes!
