Description

They've got the adrenaline rush and the mean machines, but most of all, they've got the extreme need for speed. On the turbo-charged streets of Los Angeles, every night is a championship race. With nitro-boosted fury, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), rules the road turning all his challengers into dust. He and his rival, Johnny Tran (Rick Yune) are the boldest, the baddest and the best. But now, there's new rage on the road. They know he's tough, they know he's fast, but what they don't know is that he's a speed demon detective (Paul Walker) with enough drive and determination to come out the winner. With intense full-throttle action, awesome high-speed stunts, and full-on pedal to the metal intensity, this fast and furious assault puts you in the driver's seat and dares you to exceed all limits.

  • Beware of Universal Studios and Dreamworks

Beware before buying any Universal Studios movies, (Dreamworks is owned by Universal Studios). Every couple of moths they take there films of sale and relist the exact same movie again. You do get to keep the old movie (for how long is to be seen), but the downside is that they don't appear on search results, and you use Siri to play them, and the ones that do appear on the search results are the relisted ones asking you to buy them again. also, any movies that has iTunes extras, the extras menu disappears form the movies home page. There is no reason for Universal to relist them, and the only reason they do, is to get you to buy the same movie again. They are the only company on iTunes that do this, they have done it with Shrek 1, 2, 3 and 4, The Mummy 1, 2 and 3, Jurassic Park 1, 2 and 3, Kung Fu Panda 1, 2 and 3, and countless others. I personally have over 40 Universal/Dreamworks movies, and every single one has been taken of sale and relisted. It’s really sad that a company as big as Universal Studios resorts to, for lake of a better word, extort their customers. I for one, will not be paying any more Universal Studios and Dreamworks movies on iTunes until apple steps in and puts a stop to this behaviour.
  • Audio is shocking

The film is your average thriller with action, car montages and race scenes. Nothing unexpected there.... However the audio and editing is shocking. Scenes in first 15 minutes felt cropped, especially where fist fights involved but the audio levels spoil this film. It goes from quiet to loud and vice versa, not just in change of scenes but in mid conversation or scene. Spent whole film with thumb on volume button.... Can't recommend as a result

This movie, has by far the best car racing scenes ever filmed, as well as the best cars. They are gorgeous machines, and these guys certainly can drive them. Great story, not just another Gone in Sixty Seconds where all they did was steal cars, there actually weren't very many race scenes as you might expect, but every shot is filled with cars, and lots of them. The acting is great as well, as usual Vin Diesel gives a brilliant performance, as Dominic Toretto. It has already earned a massive following, and when you leave the theaters you will be filled with such a massive adrenaline rush, that you and all your buddies will be left with the feeling that you must go out and race. Everybody I have talked to have said the same thing, it just has this crazy adrenaline rush it gives you. I highly recommend this to all fans of cars, and racing, but it has something for everybody so see it even if you are not a fan of either, bottom line!

A good entertaining action picture full of fast cars, crime and beautiful women. The ideal boy's film. Decent performances from Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.
