    I love this film, I would highly recommend it to anyone over the age of 7 but its still a great move and would be even better if their was a life of pi 2 where he reunites with his best companion the tiger and he finds his dad lost somewhere like Chicago or Italy.

    Nice CG, it even won awards, but everything else about this film is toxic and offensive. The message of the story, that lies and fantasy are superior to reality is truly offensive. It's a two hour long piece of pro religious propaganda. If you have a functioning brain, avoid at all costs.

    From what could have been a laborious story of survival turns out to be a stunning visual, heart warming, devastating, lonely, thrilling masterpiece. A must watch.

    When I watched I for the first time it made me tear up when the tiger fell off the boat an the way how the tiger abandoned Pi :( I loved it :)

    I was worried about seeing this after reading (listening to) the book, but was pleasantly surprised. If you've not read / listened to the book I really would urge anyone to add something extra special to their mind. Enjoy!
