Arthur Christmas

The jokes in this film are often delivered by the men (who are supposed to be the heros of the film) at the expense of women, elves (who are clearly second class citizens), and anything else that they don't quite understand. Throw away comments by the Santas about drunken or annoying elves being lost forever (and no one caring about them), or comparing delivering presents to the difficulty of teaching women to read, caused confusion in my youngest daughter, who was not sure why they were supposed to be funny. The film passes the time, as long as you are old enough to understand that many of the jokes are unacceptable - but for families with younger children I would recommend to avoid this all together.

A good cartoon for the family for children and adults

Apparently it is really good, I am not sure if I have seen Arthur Christmas I'll ask my mum and dad tomorrow afternoon

Heartwarming and lovely story. Very likeable characters, enjoyable for all the family.

I remember watching this on cable tv for the first time and was very surprised on how good it was. The story is just so smart. I love the modern North Pole and how the elf’s act like soldiers. Character designs, backgrounds and animation are truly one of the best I have ever seen in a CGI movie. Overall, great film to watch during the holiday period. A must see.

An awesome film great for the family and they should really make a second film

While I am not sold on the story, the sheer detail of the animation and all the tiny jokes slipped in everywhere makes this a fantastic family animation. The best part is the jokes aren't all in the first few minutes, they re throughout with some of the best at the very end!
