Description

The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films. For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.

As good as the other bourne films can't believe anyone would slate this film,Matt Damon brilliant, so was Jeremy Renner, Cool parts played by both, they should do a bourne film together, that would be awesome πŸ‘ βœ…βœ…βœ…βœ…βœ…πŸ€”

Like said before...too slow for a bourne film that all have pace and energy, poor overall story...had potential but a let down. Stick to the writing...not the Directing!!!

Just awful, at least 2 good scenes in it and it has terrible plot, ending and action. If you like this movie in its entirety I question your mental health
  • Nothing wrong with it - judge it one its own merits

People are just peeved because it's not exactly the same thing for the forth time and with the same actor. Ignore these reviewers. It's got the same vibe - maybe a slightly slower burn, which I like. The 'drugs' aspect is no where near as ridiculous as some reviews have suggested - and I can imagine governments controlling their 'assets' in such a horrible way. I love all four movies and await the fifth. But this one has a respectable place in the franchise in my option. Enjoy it's differences. Maybe it's not quite a 5 star movie but I'm upgrading it to counter all the 'reviews' that are just saying it not the same as their favourite. That's not fair reviewing. To me it's a 4 to 4.5 Star job well done.

The script writers clearly started without a script and then thought up a vague idea for a story line and then got bored and went done the pub instead. Even the main protagonist looks bored through most of the film and fails to be in anyway convincing. In fact most of the film could have been made with offcuts from other Bourne films leaving a core crew of 2 for the rest of the film. The film finally fizzles out a bit like someone turning the music down on a stereo. In fact there isn’t and ending, the film just runs out of time.

Don't waste your money on this film, it was poorly scripted, very slow and not a patch on the other Bourne films.
