You can buy a collection of the blu rays for about £50 (minus Spectre). Old reviews from the collection previously listed on the Apple Store suggest they used sell this for roughly the same price but then doubled it. Now they no longer offer the collection and want roughly £9 for each film!!!!! I have no idea what the distribution company is playing at but this pricing is absolutely insane and is stopping me from purchasing these films. Avoid until the price drops or just buy the hard copy.

It is a travesty that Lazenby had bad advice and didnt take up the offer to sign for 6 more Bond films. Lazenby has a stature and presence that is unrivalled - with his fresh unique approach and J.Barrys compilations this is one of the greats and we have all lost what could have been the greatest era of Bond films in our time.
  • Best Bond so far...

This is probably the best bond so far, it's a classic and Lazenby pulls it off to perfection. Cast and crew brilliant, it's gritty, funny, action packed and the locations are wonderful. Micheal Reed's camera work and cinematography is outstanding, A list cast delivers the goods and more. It captures the mood of the sixties in gripping yarn that is quit brilliant. 10 out of 10. A classic!

Forget his attitude off set, and in his inexperience, George Lazenby did well coming in off the street to fill, what were big shoes to fill in the form of Connery. Would this film be any different if Connery had been in it, i doubt it. It’s the closest you will get to the Fleming books on screen and despite it been a love story, it’s still Bond. Once you’ve seen this a few times you realise how great it is, the music score has to be Barry’s best and yea ok he could have delivered a few lines a bit smoother and walked with less of a swagger in some scenes but when he said the name’s Bond, James Bond and follows it up with a beach fight, then Connery’s tenure is soon placed truly in the history books. The films looks back a little too much early on but apart from that, no complaints. I’m sure Lazenby himself would agree, a few more films and he would of been a Bond to be proud of and it would have given the DAF opening a little bit more grit and feel to it as he goes for revenge for the death of his wife.

Bond connoisseurs choice...........until Craig's Casino Royale and Skyfall one of the best Bond Films. The lines are superb and a real classic. Lazenby was knocked at the time but many consider him one of the best Bonds and it is a real shame he didn't make more. John Barry's theme OHMSS is simply one of the best. Love it

Lazenby didn't fit the bill he was indulge with the woman but no action didn't to it fir me don't even want to give him a star should have let Sean Connery stay as mr bond

…until Skyfall. Forget all the criticisms of Lazenby. He's inexperienced but entirely watchable. The actions scenes are fantastic, but the human emotions are real and centre-stage. Diana Rigg and Telly Savalas are tremendous support, while John Barry's pulsating score is easily his finest. Best of all, the intelligent script is the closest to Ian Fleming's source novel of any Bond film, even From Russia With Love.
