I love this movie in my opinion this is Connery best performance. The movie is amazing from start to finish the music always comes at the perfect time and is simply mind-blowing that they managed so much with the money they had. All the actors gave it their very best and I would love to meet them in person. Honeymoon rider is the best Bond girl from looks to skills Andress was the perfect Bond girl. Dr.no is one of the best villains I have ever seen he is always calm and a master when it comes to hand-to-hand combat Joseph wiseman really must have care for the movie no one could have pulled it off the way he did. Ian Fleming must have been very proud of the movie he even gave bond a Scottish background after Connery. No one is a better bond than Connery he is the the reason Bond is where it is today.

Finally took the plunge on the Connery set and boy this looks good. It’s about time the Bonds got the 4K in the UK considering the US has had them for almost a year already.

You can buy a collection of the blu rays for about £50 (minus Spectre). Old reviews from the collection previously listed on the Apple Store suggest they used sell this for roughly the same price but then doubled it. Now they no longer offer the collection and want roughly £9 for each film!!!!! I have no idea what the distribution company is playing at but this pricing is absolutely insane and is stopping me from purchasing these films. Avoid until the price drops or just buy the hard copy.

This is where it all starts, Noel Coward as Dr No, Spectre, underneath the mango tree. We have been expecting you Mr Bond, good old Sean Connery cannot beat his debut.

Its hard to believe that this film is now over 50 years old. It all started here. The plot (at the time) was very current and it set the tone and style of what was to follow. Connery was a very wise choice and played the part with ease. Iconic moments, such as Honey Rider appearing out of the sea, are still a hit today. A solid debut for the series.
