Billy Elliot is the heartwarming story of a young boy from a working-class family who discovers a passion that will change his life forever. Eleven-year-old miner's son Billy Elliot is on his way to boxing lessons when he stumbles upon a ballet class. Billy secretly joins the class, knowing that his blue-collar family would never understand. Under the guidance of his teacher, Mrs. Wilkinson (Academy Award® nominee Julie Walters), Billy's raw talent takes flight. But when his father discovers his son's ambition, Billy must fight for his dreams and his destiny. With Oscar®-worthy performances, Rex Reed (The New York Observer) calls "a triumph!" Don't miss Billy Elliot - the triumphant tale of one boy who reaches beyond his place in the world to follow his heart's desire.

Good movie and the songs fit well with movie. Jamie bell is a good actor in this he really brings the accent out like he was from the north east and and it's fantastic how most of the scenes are made in my home town Seaham, north East England also makes me feel like the way I am with drama would remand to watch this movie.

Ever since the first time watched this when I was 5, I have loved it ever since! Yes I was quite young to watch this film but cousins were watching it when they were baby sitting me and I wouldn't go to bed. But since I watched that film it made me realise how amazing it is to be a Geordie! I am a Geordie my self and I know where it was filmed! I am so addicted to this film it is like a drug to me and I will never be able to get rid of that amazing feeling I get when I watch it! I totally recommend it to everyone!
