Not sure if this is a made for tv edit, but the scene in the motel has been cut so all the make up and ‘mask zapping’ effects are completely missing - doesn’t mention anywhere it’s a different edit to the regular version that’s usually shown / sold.

Again, minimalist soundtrack an a ‘villain’ whose somewhat strange ambiguity makes him a kind of ‘force of Supernature’. Again, JC gets what he needs from all his cast. Worth a view or more.
  • Probably one of the worst films you'll ever see!

Bad so very bad, if you like crap 80's B movies then you'll love it. But if you have any self respect/ worth spend your money on something else. I can't help but think the good reviews are from people who have bought the movie thinking it's going to be good and feel bad they have wasted their money, don't listen to them they just don't want to be alone in there blunder. The acting is horrendous and the story line well the least said the better. So so SOSO bad!

I'm glad this is finally getting the kudos it deserves. Definitely one of Tom Atkins' best and far and away the best Halloween sequel. Totally bonkers premise and a great soundtrack.

Have to agree, it's too corny to stop watching, it sounds crazy but it's true. Silver shamrock!
  • Very unusual film in a good way.

I saw this 10 years ago and hated it. Now I have a fondness of it down to the fact this represents how corporate activity is killing off the sole traders. I'm not sure if that's what the filmakers were intending or were they just out to make a horror film. This is a risk taking film as the prequels were well established horror masterpieces.

I love these 80's horror movies. This one is often missed by most, which is a pity because it has a real atmosphere about it.

Although it doesn't follow in the chilling footsteps of Mr. Myers, it's my favourite of the franchise. It looks nostalgic rather than dated and has an atmosphere which is difficult to beat. I settle down to watch it every time it's on TV during the Hallowe'en season. Great film, complimented by Carpenter's signature style of soundtrack. (Watch 'Christine' to see what I mean!).
