Norman Pitkin is the village milkman, employed by Grimsdale’s Dairy. Every morning he sets off with his milk churn and horse to provide the eccentric villagers with milk for their early morning cups of tea. But when giant rival, Mr Hunter of Consolidated Dairies, tries to take over Grimsdale’s patch, Pitkin courageously assumes command of Grimsdale’s ‘troops’ in the fight ahead. Consolidated Dairies has all the resources. Grimsdale has none.
