Some people on here were obviously expecting a kids film , this film is a drama with some comedic elements , it never was supposed to be a film for little children. I do find sad that there are some people here who gave it a bad review just because they believed it was a kids film , if they would have given it a chance they would have ended up being touched by this wonderful uplifting film. The acting is great , especially from the lead actor and how nice to see a film where the priests are shown in a positive light for a change. Good film , highly recommend it. I believe that you need to have a heart made of stones not to be moved by this story.

Didn't even get to watch the film, because when it got to the downloading process, 'download error, click to retry ' over and over again! We were planning to watch it on the long journey home, now we were completely bored. Ruined. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Yes, this is a feel good film that is inspirational, but what the previous reviewer forgets is that the film is a 12 and is not intended for 'young children'. Any 12 year old who doesn't use the occasional swear words or deprives themselves of the physical explorations that are mentioned within the film may be supremely religious. As such, one of the morals of the story would also be lost on them (being a lesson from Neitzsche - who once was imprisoned for proclaiming that god was dead). If you are very religious this film will not appeal to you... on the other hand, if you like a feel-good movie that lightly challenges the viewer to question authority (within the scope of religion) then it comes highly recommended.

Lots of profanity. Not recommended to watch with your children which kind of defeats the purpose of a film like this.
