One of those movies I recalled watching in amazement as a child - it just sucked you in through the screen and you were immersed in the story. And when the film was over you were amazed by the experience !
This is what a well crafted film can do to you without CGI.
All the cast are really fantastic in this.
Christpher Plummer, Sir Michael Caine and Big Tam (Sir Big Tam) are magical in this, they really are ! Amazingly well spun piece of telling !

My favourite film of all time, will not appear on many top 200 lists but Caine and Connery at their finest as they romp through the movie bringing a certain type of colonial enlightenment to less developed nations, a man, a god, best friends together and a woman hubris all rolled in to a rip snortign 1hr 40mins.
First film I checked for on buying my Ipad, first film bought, first film watched and ready to watch again, brass it out danny, brass it out!!
Underrated is an understatement

A great adventure movie that ticks all the boxes of director (John Huston) story, script, cast and jaw dropping scenery (Set in India and beyond, but filmed in part in Morocco FYI) Add to this a genuinely emotional ending and you have a classic. Cain and Connery on top form, but also great performances from Christopher Plummer and a show stealing turn from Saeed Jaffrey. See if you can spot Shakira Caine in there somewhere...

I sometimes wonder in disbelief as to who actually edits these trailers on itunes?
This is a little known all time classic film with two fantastic lead actors and a wealth of talent in its supporting cast. The trailer gives you no insight as to what you can expect to see if you watch this movie, it is a classic Kipling yarn with a hint of the Brotherhood of Masons which is well directed and well acted.
Take my word for it and as the previous reviewer said, if you like classic Cain and Connery movies then you will love this.
