It made me jump when the women with rabis started smashing her head off the camera and when the little girl suddenly starts attacking people or
When they went to take a brain sample and they used a drill he suddenly came alive

The film REC which this film is based upon or more simply copying is so much better. And it's £2 cheap on iTunes alone. Don't bother with this film is my advise.
REC AND REC 2 ARE BETTER

If you want a horror film that will get your girlfriend to evert her eyes, cuddle you tighter and rest her head on your shoulder when she gets scarred, then this probably isnt the right one, because thats what i bought the film for but it ended up me cuddleing her tighter and hidding my head into her shoulder. This truely is a film which builds a great atmosphere of terror (which is quite rare to find in alot of horrors now), it was like being attached to a heart defibrillator for an hour and a half, ok the ending isnt the best but truely a must see film ... and lads Jennifer Carpenter is not only hot but she can act, brilliantly!!!
In summarie, Click "Buy Film" you wont be disapointed

Personally I HATE films with subtitles so I was happy to see an English remake of Rec as I found it hard to concentrate on the overall terror when I watched the original.
I would also like to point out that if somebody that had never seen Quarantine but watched Rec and if somebody that had never watched Rec but seen Quarantine were told to talk about the movie, their conversations would be exactly the same. This really is a shot-for-shot remake and the only difference is actors, setting (Set in LA instead of Spain) and the language (Rec is Spanish, this is English)
The movie starts off slow and is actually quite boring at the beginning but you'll KNOW when the horror starts and from then it just gets better and better.
The movie is also quite believable and has a message to it. Usually horror films are just intended to scare people and are unrealistic. But this plays on the idea of Rabies and how the government and authorities keep secrets from us. The acting is also very good and believeable.
Yes, like all horror flicks in the PoV style it tries to make out it's real footage, it's not. Sorry to dissapoint.
But still, buy/rent this movie and watch it in the dark with just the TV on by yourself. I DARE you!
get the original!!

This is a good remake, its still scary and stuff but is NO MATCH WHAT SO EVER for REC!
The remake also drags out the Firestation scene FAR too long!
