Description

After taking moviegoers magically into the realm of toys, bugs, monsters, fish, and superheroes, the masterful storytellers and technical wizards at Pixar Animation Studios, and Academy Award-winning director John Lasseter (Toy Story, Toy Story 2, A Bug's Life), hit the road with a fast-paced comedy adventure set inside the world of cars. Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson), a hotshot rookie race car driven to succeed, discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line, when he finds himself unexpectedly detoured in the sleepy Route 66 town of Radiator Springs. On route across the country to the big Piston Cup Championship in California to compete against two seasoned pros, McQueen gets to know the town's offbeat characters –including Doc Hudson (Paul Newman), Sally Carrera (Bonnie Hunt), and a rusty but trusty tow truck Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) – who help him realize that there are more important things than trophies, fame and sponsorship. The all-star vocal cast also includes free-wheeling performances by Tony Shalhoub, Michael Keaton, George Carlin, Katherine Helmond, Cheech Marin, John Ratzenberger, Paul Dooley, Michael Wallis, Darrell Waltrip, racing legend Richard Petty, Jenifer Lewis and Jeremy Piven. Fueled with plenty of humor, action, heartfelt drama, and amazing new technical feats, Cars is a high octane delight for moviegoers of all ages.

‘Cars’ is a great and fun film in HD with CC subtitles and iTunes Extras, that the whole family can enjoy together. I just wish that ‘Disney*Pixar’ had thought to include AD audio description so that everyone with poor eyesight could also enjoy this film. Please ‘Disney*Pixar’ can you please add AD audio description.

I absolutely adore this movie! It’s one of those movie that I can put on and watch nonstop without the story ever getting old or boring to me. It has a nice, sweet story where the main character, Lightning McQueen, grows in a good way from being a self-centred brat, and the other characters all have something to add to his growth and the story, especially Doc Hudson. I like it a lot better than many of Pixar’s other movies. Top stuff! Never mind the silly 2nd Cars or disappointing 3rd, just watch this and be happy.💕💕💕💕💕😁😁😁😁😁
  • Still one of the best films ever made, and it's 2017.

Loved this film since the day it came out. Have seen it about 100 times but it never gets old. Came back to buy it in HD and seen that's its £14 quid!!! Ridiculous iTunes compleatly riduculous. Still worth the money though as it is an amazing film much better than the second one.
  • TOO MUCH!!!

iTunes you need to lower the price because this is my favourite film and would love to watch it on my phone when I'm out but I would rather just watch it at home and buy it from a shop for £4!

This is a great movie to watch with the family again and again. But Apple, really how do you guys sleep at night, £13.99 for a movie that came out 9 years ago! I would have expected to pay a maximum of £9.99 for the HD version. Seriously, no wonder Netflix is taking away your customers.
