Kirk (William Shatner) seems resigned to the fact that this inspection may well be the last space mission of his career. But Khan is back. Aided by his exiled band of genetic supermen, Khan (Ricardo Montalban) - brilliant renegade of 20th century Earth - has raided Space Station Regula One, stolen a top secret device called Project Genesis, wrested control of another Federation starship, and now schemes to set a most deadly trap for his old enemy Kirk... with the threat of a universal Armageddon!

Just going through all the Star Trek 4K versions, and noticed that TWOK has only got The HD tag and not the 4K Dolby Vision, so why no 4K for TWOK

As the title explain this is one of the best. The only down point is the start when Pavel and Khan meet as they seem to remember each other but no record of him being on board at the time of events of Seed Space when he 1st appeared as Chekov did nit appear until 2nd series.

This movie actually has both versions as the full Director's Cut is in iTunes Extras! The best Trek movie ever and an all time great sci Fi film. Wrath of Kahn stands the test of time.

This is a really great movie and Khan is really cool! It's so creepy when those weird thingies go into Chekov and his Captains bodies. It was very disgusting and I almost puked!!! I only gave this 4 stars because... Spock dies!!!!!!!!!! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo😭😭!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahem, sorry about that! Anyway, you've got to watch this! I say that after every review I do!

I ADORE Wrath of Khan. It is acted brilliantly and balances action, dialogue and space shots really well, much better than The Motion Picture. One complaint: WHY DID SPOCK HAVE TO DIE?!??! I AM STILL CRYING OVER THE DEATH SCENE!!!! ... I am totally not crazy :) So overall, utterly brilliant film. Live long and prosper!

I prefer the motion picture, it is more sophisticated, detailed and more beautiful film. This film goes in another direction, that is to follow the characterisation of the original series. It is a good idea to watch space seed from the tv show then watch this as you can see why Kirk and Khan want to kill each other. This is a much better film than the recent into darkness. I was surprised to learn that Shatner and Montalban never shot any footage together making this film.

One of the best Star Trek movies. £7.99 for a 153 minute runtime compare to the directors cut £9.99 156 minute runtime. £1 per additional minute with horrific editing. No thanks. Standard copy for me. Not blaming iTunes like most people. Blame goes to the studios for unfair pricing.

It is indeed a brilliant film...this film sets a standard on how to revive a series from a film.... The Next Generation movies can not compete against such a iconic group of characters that establish the star trek universe... The Khan story line is brilliant, only one big mistake in the film if anybody has spotted it?... So big... That it is not the effects or music or storyline.... As it is a follow up to the 1960s "The Space Seed.." one character that should not be put in the spot light against Khan as a foil against Kirk is Chekov... He was never in the original episode, how can Chekov know him, how can Khan know him, they never met..... "but you a face I can never forget...Mr. Chekov.." replies Khan when he takes off his helmet to introduce himself to Cpt. Terrell and Chekov... But other than that the film is faultless, the age issues, family ideas, revenge, death of friends... All wrapped together And intertwined.. It's just brilliant.. James Horner Score is beautiful, he would have made Jerry Goldsmith proud... If one would apply this film story to present day depiction using the Aircraft carrier and a destroyer... It actual would work.....not may far in the future films story lines could be applied to modern day notions.... Everything about this movie is 5 star.. Timeless classic unforgettable...
