Adventure called her name... unfortunately he answered. It’s a wild ride when you’re 11 and your world is shattered in an instant but all it takes is an imagination and a bit of courage to find an adventure to sink your teeth into. In the care of her estranged dad (Elijah Wood) who just so happens to be a magician, Mildred will not only open his eyes to the magic of the world around them but also put him in situations that seem crazy at first but will ultimately help form a bond that will last a lifetime. With big cats on the prowl and dangers lurking around every corner, Mildred and her dad must navigate those awkward moments that make life worth living.
