Set in the underworld of gangland Dublin, TWIG is a re-telling of the Greek tragedy Antigone. Twig yearns to escape with her lover from the grip of her family's criminal legacy but when a deadly shootout claims one brother and forces another, Paulie, into hiding, she is pulled back into the chaos. Fear spreads throughout the local community as crime lord Leon vows to let Paulie's body rot in the street. However, Leon's guns and henchmen are no match for Twig's iron-will as she, armed with nothing but her unwavering resolve, defiantly sets out to do the right thing and bury her brother.
