When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and opens the door to the spirit world forcing them to choose who to trust: the dead or the living.

Some good ideas, good performances from a largely young cast, and some good screen direction, but ultimately a film hampered by a terribly muddled final third where ideas either run out of steam or are simply left to flounder due to a lack of clarity and purpose.
The ending was deeply disappointing, and relied far too much on a final “twist” that lacked anything close to a decent set-up.
All in all, a 6 out of 10, that really should have done better.

It’s a solid premise that presents as a decent enough film.
Strangely though I felt no sympathy or compassion for any of the characters because they were simply unlikeable.

Started off great really spooky then got a bit silly near the middle to end pity because a original concept the hand still it’s enjoyable defo worth a watch could’ve been scarier me thinks.
