  • Fun but too sweary

The film made me chuckle but the language could have been toned down a lot. A mixture of bad Santa, Nobody and some Home Alone style pranks but so much more gore. It’s good because it’s got David Harbour in it.
  • Glad I’m not on the naughty list!

A great alternative Christmas movie. Thoroughly entertaining, loved the humour and action. The gory “home alone” trap moments were hilarious! A new Christmas classic in the making for sure.

Absolutely awful. Extremely violent and full of foul swearing. Just a dreadful movie. Avoid at all costs. 2 hours of my life wasted watching this vile drivel.

  • Fun but overly edited to reduce gore

The creator of Død Snø sold out for his big budget breakthrough and sadly stops the film from being the perfect alternative Christmas film it almost was. So many scenes are clearly edited in post production to reduce gore and violence and yet a couple of hints at the film it was supposed to be still remain. So much potential and almost perfect but it would have been better to let the film be the crazy silly gore fest it should have been. Check out the perfect Død Snø to see what the director is capable of on no budget, then re-watch this and you will see what I mean…

I think because I’ve seen Mel Gibson the Fatman I felt this was just another version of that. What would of been good is exploring his past when they flash back to the Viking era. Otherwise it was ok. Easy watch
