Description

Long before he becomes the master of evil, Gru is just a 12-year-old boy in 1970s suburbia, plotting to take over the world from his basement. When the infamous supervillain group, the Vicious 6, ousts their leader, Gru attempts to join their ranks but soon finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. With Gru on the run, the Minions attempt to learn martial arts to help save him, and Gru discovers that even bad guys need a little help from their friends. Packed with the franchise’s signature subversive humor, Minions: The Rise of Gru features more thrilling action than any Despicable Me film ever before!

Better than the first Minions, hands down. I loved Alan Arkin’s character and the Minions themselves are hilarious as always. Who doesn’t love those little yellow comedians? Highly recommend it to any fan of the Despicable Me franchise.
  • Great fun, lots of laughs and great soundtrack

Love the opening 5-10 min, very Austin Powers then James Bond. The plot wasn’t the strongest and a little disappointing but plenty of laugh out loud moments and some great 70s tracks included. Would defo watch again.
  • Not as good as the others

Very disappointed, not much of a plot, violence for the sake of it. Where was the hidden adult humour, or just the funny stuff?! Not worth the money, my little one didn’t find it entertaining.

Are you actually serious …. Prices for everything are through the roof cinemas are going bankrupt and you want to charge £15 quid to “rent” a kids movie to watch at home … THINK AGAIN
