Excellent film. Was completely engrossed throughout. I shudder at the thought of a one-take film so massive congratulations to the whole cast and crew. Only but I didn’t like is when Graham’s character tries the dessert three times with the same spoon -ew. Loved Hannah Walters’ character in the exchange between her and the dessert chef.

A good film, without being an absolute world beater. An original concept that is well made and well acted. Felt a little bit Channel 4/TV than a film and for chunks of the movie you are just watching a restaurant at work, which at times really works well as a concept but at other times might make you feel that not a lot is happening. Nevertheless a very good watch.

Stephen Graham is absolutely brilliant in BOILING POINT - a walking time bomb just waiting to explode from the moment the film starts. I wish There were extras with this movie - I’d love to know if it really is one 90 minute take (It’s certainly easy to believe that it is). How on earth was it rehearsed? How much of the dialogue is improvised? What were members of the cast doing when they weren’t on screen - did life in the restaurant continue regardless of the camera’s position? How many takes did it require to reach the perfect 90 minutes? The quality of acting is first class throughout - so much so that many of the scenes feel like proper toe-curling, fly-on-the-wall documentary. An incredible achievement!

The unfamiliar inner workings of the hospitality/restaurant industry/culture told from the perspective of several of it’s humble servants becomes a known quantity to us all. Job done!

Script and restaurant seems to be set in the 90s. Things aren’t just like that. A nervous watch without much payoff

Absolute cracking film only let down slightly by a disappointing ending. Stephen Graham at his best. 10 times better than some of the recent award nominated/winning over-hyped rubbish like Promising Young Woman or Sound Of Metal which are more interested in subject matter rather than the film itself.

This for me was utter rubbish, high end restaurant,I don’t think so,I don’t think softlad could boil a egg,his erratic behaviour matched is gutter language. The only thing boiling was me paying to watch it.It seems only good reviews are published um!

I don’t usually review films but this work is so astonishing that it’s understand how it can be possible. It appears to be one single shot, from start to finish. I can only presume that special effects allow the pieces to be stitched together but, regardless, it is an astonishing piece of work. The film is so impressively acted and produced that if the story or characters don’t make you cry, the remarkable achievement of the production is certain to. Boiling Point is by far the best film I’ve seen for years.
