    I can see why people were disappointed. It’s unlike the original trilogy, smaller and more theatrical. But for me, I enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting reading the reviews. There were some great performances from the cast and overall was a welcome return to form.

    Even the upgraded special effects rendered beautifully in 4K couldn’t mitigate for the lack of a coherent plot. Shame

    Ok so as a huge fan of the original 3 Matrix movies I was excited to hear they were making a fourth,I can honestly say this was a huge mistake and this movie never should of been made. The plot was dreadful and weak and no where near the calibre of the trilogy and I don’t know why anyone would of passed this for production,very disappointed indeed.

    Very disappointing sequel, it felt as if I was watching a poorly made for TV film spending so much time trying to explain why so many of the original characters had new faces and the rest how to untangle and explain the ending of the last film. There is even an explanation why this film was made early on, the rest appeared as if they just wanted to get to the end and take the cash with as little effort and new creativity as possible.
