  • Not a funny as it wants to be, unfortunately

It's a shame- I think John Cleese is excellent and usually always makes me laugh. But this short film doesn't really make you laugh as much as it wants you to. Basically, the story is about him receiving a letter from a concerned citizen regarding his mums dangerous driving. So he tries to persuade her to stop, and things progress from there. Don't get me wrong, there are some mildly humerous moments regarding his mums driving, but the story didn't quite grab me. However, I did like the twist at the end. Worth a rental if you like Cleese, but don't expect Fawlty Towers.

John Cleese, although a fantastic actor and writer, is a complete let down in this shoddy, pathetic attempt of a film. More constructive things have been created clipping toenails over a piece of paper with glue on it so to make a collage of something.
