The Fanatic

OK so the Fanatic is not the most original idea Hollywood has ever come up with, but ignore the countless haters dumping on this movie. This is actually pretty decent. Travolta gives a tour de force performance as the slow, possibly autistic, lead character Moose, who is a committed autograph hunter who’s obsession with action star Huntar Dunbar reaches dangerous levels . Travolta really threw himself into the role and became completely immersed in the character throughout. It’s not easy viewing due to the pity Travolta makes you feel for Moose, but props to the Pulp Fiction star for really nailing the part. Yes it’s nowhere near as polished or indeed tense as De Niro and Snipes outing The Fan, but I really don’t think it was ever intended to be. Former Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst takes on the directorial duties and to be honest does a pretty good job. The Fanatic is definitely worth checking out once, even if it’s only for Travolta’s brilliant performance. 👍🏻

Not the best, Travoltas character was played ok, but the story was slow and a bit tiresome, wouldn't want to watch it again, not a patch on the fan 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
