This is a comedy, so the first thing it needs to be is funny. Unfortunately, despite the two lead actors being ok, the script lets them down & it isn’t. I gave it 30 minutes to see if it picked up, but unfortunately it didn’t. I have a bad feeling that the 5 star reviews are from people connected with the film in some way. Looks nice in HD though.
  • A bit dull.

Now I like most of the actors in this film and have a fondness for Blackpool having spent many happy times there as a kid. The story was ok, but I never found any laugh out load moments and unfortunately the trailer shows the best bits, leaving the rest of the film as filler....! Tom Binns was great as the fortune teller, but again if you’ve seen his live show, non of the gags will be new. All in all, a rainy day film, but don’t expect to be laughing every minute.

A genuinely funny British film with many bright moments.Tom Binns is particularly good as the fortune teller. The two brothers ( Antonio Aakeel and Jack Carroll) have great chemistry and banter. A feel good film suitable for the whole family to watch!

Not enough just plain silly British comedies about. This one ticks all the boxes and passed the 6 laugh test by miles. Great performances from Tom Binns and Johnny Vegas too. Like to see other stuff from this director.
