I would like to say a big thank you to ‘Walt Disney Pictures’ for reducing ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’ to £4.99 on the 22nd December 2019. The film ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’ is a magical, fun family film that looks stunning. I think It’s great that the film studio ‘Walt Disney Pictures’ reduced the film to £4.99 for a day because it’s Christmas... it’s very much appreciated. Blimey it’s poor. All that money spent, yet without an engaging story it’s all for nowt. If you are going to rent a Lasse Halstrom film then go for My Life As A Dog. This one is a dud.

Generally ok bit of a Narnia vibe

Good entertainment for the 7 and 10 year old kids, not the strongest movie for the grownups.

The music is just wonderful and supports the film so well. Although a little difficult to follow the plot at the beginning, once into the film the plot is logical and quite moving in places. The use of computerisation is really very effevtive and works very well in creating the alternative world. It is a film that benefits from more than one watching. There is so much that only becomes understandable after further watches. And even if you fully understand the film, it is just so enjoyable to watch again.

Could have been good - no background info/ no time for character building - terrible acting from so called stars 😁 rent don’t buy!
