Bad Times At the El Royale

Flying home from Florida, was given a selection of movies to watch and unintentionally watched this movie. Didn’t think it would amount to much however I was very wrong. It is such a brilliant film with several storylines intertwined with each other, and, with the addition of a beautifully constructed soundtrack, creates a fantastic movie. Would 100% recommend to anyone who enjoys films that make no sense to start of with, but then turns into a masterpiece.

A Promising Start but the Story doesn't deliver! It all goes down the drain with Chris Hemsworths entrance!

See it now and just stick with it, brilliant cast and screen play... keeps you locked into the plot as it unfolds in front on your eyes ... fantastic!!!

Not only did I enjoy this film, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. The Dude was brilliant. So was Thor. Film tries to copy the flashback style of that Dino Tarantula guy that directed all those flashback movies that had a lot of flashbacks in them. And people getting shot.

Great film all round!

This in time will be a cult film with a very big fellowing!! Loved it!!

Excellent noir style film. Jeff bridges deserved an Oscar for this.

"Bad Times" is not a perfect film, it is much longer than I expected. Similarly the character's life stories' is also long-winded. On the plus side, it is captivating. I don't mean to sound pretentious - but it was for me. Jeff Bridges (very moving performance especially towards the film's end), Cynthia Erivo (her singing was brilliant) & Lewis Pullman's character was surprisingly good. They were all very moving. Am looking forward to watching it again

The rest of the movie doesn’t quite get going. It’s slow. It’s repetitive. I had high hopes, but while I like these kinda movies I was let down by this one.
