Sicario 2: Soldado

‘Sicario 2’ is a cracking film, that is visually stunning and incredibly atmospheric. It once again benefits from a great cast, that really do a great job in their roles and makes this film all the more believable and exciting. Just like the first film, ‘Sicario 2’ slowly builds the tension, and it is a superb follow on from the first ‘Sicario’ film that was also brilliant. The film looks stunning in 4K Dolby Vision, but sadly it only has a Dolby 5.1 soundtrack. Please add the Dolby Atmos soundtrack and the Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 soundtrack that was recorded for this film, because they really do add more to the excitement and make it a lot more atmospheric. Both of the “Sicario” films are truly superb and should be in everyone’s film library/collection. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Previous review below... Pants!

First one was good. This one was terrible. Story wasn’t great and all seemed a bit thrown together.

Waste of time. Rented and regretted it.

Don't quite get the negatives? This film really is good and follows on well form the original. If there is a criticism, it would be that there is a slightly "Low- Budget " feel to this effort. Great cast worth a watch definitely.

The first film was stupendously good. This one is much more standard Hollywood fare. Then the film drops the main storyline entirely and just ends. What happened to all of the other characters? Such a waste.

Simply great film.

Second best film of the year for me. As good as the first Sicario. Left me wanting for part 3. Benecio Del Toro is excellent
