Description

The sequel to the worldwide smash hit Olympus Has Fallen begins in London, where the British Prime Minister has passed away under mysterious circumstances. His funeral is a must-attend event for leaders of the western world. But what starts out as the most protected event on earth, turns into a deadly plot to kill the world's most powerful leaders, devastate every known landmark in the British capital, and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. Only three people have any hope of stopping it: the President of the United States (Aaron Eckhart), his formidable secret service head (Gerard Butler), and an English MI-6 agent who rightly trusts no one.

  • Another film I cannot buy because of missing subtitles!

Another entertaining, enjoyable film that many people cannot buy, because the English subtitles that are on the physical Disc have been left off the Digital film. The law needs to be changed to force all film studios to add English subtitles and AD audio description to any films that are sold. Apple like to pretend that they are a caring company, but do nothing to stop the indifference and discrimination against those that are not blessed with perfect eyesight or hearing. Why in this day and age, does it need laws to change things? When companies that are powerful enough to make these changes, but choose to turn a blind eye, it clearly shows how little they care. It is a sad state of affairs, that some companies and people, care more about money and profit, than they can care about those that are less fortunate.

Just a joke of a film, scary that someone thinks this would even pass as an amateur production, itโ€™s so bad you start to cry.
  • As cheesy as it gets...

Predictable and rediculous plot, appauling acting and one of the very worst films I have seen. If you do decide to watch this do so after many beers....

Not a chance, lucky for us the Americans are here to save us again, even though the lead role is a Scotsman,( with a bad American accent ) action was very good, but we only have the SAS too save us ? so thanks ๐Ÿ™ America. Actually quite enjoyed it when all said and done, total escapism nice ๐Ÿ‘

Don't take it too seriously and it's a fun ride. It could have been a lot more cringe-worthy than it was. Good performances all round, even if Butler's 'American' accent takes a hit when he's talking to a fellow Scotsman.Same story as every other "Save the American President" plot but nicely done. Good soundtrack and nice action scenes, with plenty attention to detail.

This film just goes to show that you can have some great actors and still end up with a film that is barely watchable. To add insult to injury, apple have charged me twice for renting this load of tosh, hopefully they will refund me. Some quite good special effects but the plot and the heroism of Gerald Butler and the president, quite ludicrous. Still, it is a good job they were able to have a laugh about it, after killing loads of baddies and falling down a shaft.
  • Wonderfully cheesy

If you've had a bad week at work, and want to watch some bad guys getting their heads blown off, while the US Secret Service crash around incompetently, while the terrorists are imbued with preternatural powers of planning and infiltration, this is for you. I love it. It ws silly, gory, gratuious, lacked any sense of reality - totally. But it was fun at the end of a week of stress - pure escapism. Don't take it seriously. I'm not sure that it takes itself seriously. And it doens't require ANY thinking.

This is exactly the cheesy film I expected so I'm not disappointed. I must admit there were some parts what were supposed to be serious and I found myself laughing. Glad I didn't spend more than 99p on renting this car crash of a film.......
