Love Me Like You Do

This film rather took me by surprise. Not what I was expecting. Katherine Heigl gives a towering performance and this film serves to demonstrate her ability as one of American’s finest actresses. Before this film I was not familiar with Ben Barnes but he more than complements Katherine Heigl’s excellent performance. This is one of those beautiful filmed stories that are increasingly rare in today’s cinema. This film is perfectly made, wonderfully shot with an admirably understated script which gives the film rhythm, momentum, pace, balance and mystery. I can’t recommend this film highly enough. I look forward to seeing more of Katherine Heigl in this kind of role. I hope this film reaches a broader audience. I was expecting a romantic comedy but this film brings so much more than that. Excellent work all round.

Katherine Heigl's performance is a career's best.Together with outstanding Ben Barnes she gives real heart to the touching story. A must see.
